Press release for Horses: Sports, Culture, and Slaughter.
The series looks at the horse slaughter issue through the lense of the different horse sports and horse cultures, throughout the United States.
It comprises a 50 minute interview in which I relay all the information I have on the topics. This is then augmented by “b roll” of video clips from the various visits I have made to horse racing and rodeo events, kill auctions, feedlots and other venues related to the slaughter process.
The goal of the series is purely educational, and it is designed in a non-gory, entirely pragmatic, fashion.
