I reside at the Jersey Shore. I retired as an elementary art teacher after 35 years. I have been involved with horses since I started riding at the age of 5. I am obsessed with Kiefer, my therapy dog, and together we spend many productive hours visiting the elderly. In addition, Kiefer is the resident therapy dog for one of my therapeutic riding centers. Horse experience

I am a NARHA Registered Instructor teaching therapeutic riding for the Monmouth County Park System, SPUR (Special People United to Ride). Over the years, I competed successfully in hunters, jumpers, equitation and eventing. I have the BEST Quarter Horse mare, Bar Steppin' Honnee, who is now 26 and looks/acts like she is 6, (the age I bought her). I enjoy thoroughbred racing, and live 10 minutes from Monmouth Park. My son, Jason, and I visit Saratoga over Labor Day Weekend, and attend the Belmont Stakes annually. What fun that I will be a volunteer for this year's Breeder's Cup at Monmouth!

FOB activities

I miss Barbaro, and always will. It was a priviledge to make posters for him to be placed on the fence at New Bolton. Mine is the blue/green collage with the brown horse in the middle. Another shipment followed, but this one made it nationally. What a Champ-forever.
