Description of Rescue
Mustang Hearts is located in the Northeastern Washington, near the Idaho border, and approximately 100 miles from the Canadian border. I rescue horses directly from the kill pens at a local auction in Davenport, WA. Horses are rehomed via free lease agreement; applications and a copy of our contract can be obtained by contacting Debbie Richmond at Mustang Hearts via e-mail at mustanghearts@coldreams.com.

March 31, 2007 Auction Rescue: 11 horses rescued with FOB fundraising efforts
April 28, 2007 Auction Rescue: 3 horses (2 pregnant mares)rescued through FOB fundraising
May 15, 2007: Fundraiser for corral panels. A total of $360.00 was raised for 6 corral panels to build a small round pen to work with rescued feral horses.
May 20, 2007: Raffle for painting by artist Gabe Gabel, fundraiser for Mustang Hearts. Total funds raised $140.00.
- May 31, 2007: Three disabled horses rescued from Salem, Oregon boarding facility which placed a lien on all three horses for the owner's failure to pay boarding fees. The horses were scheduled to be sent to auction in Woodburn, Oregon, on June 2, 2007. July 18, 2007: Fundraiser on TWR forum for help with direct donations for feed to Mary's Feed & Farm. Total funds requested: $400. Total funds raised: $590. Balance of funds applied directly to account at Mary's Feed & Farm, 822 Hwy. 2, Oldtown, Idaho 83822.
