Robin

The first day we met late in October 2006.  Robin was 8 to my 54.

I felt connected right away.  He was unsure of me I think until I lunged him.  I was very quiet and he would look in at me with his ears up and a look to say is this what you want?  Am I doing it right?  His ears and eyes were very much like the little puppy in a pet store window wiggling all over for your attention. My heart just melted and melted and still melts to this day.  He still gives me his ears up "is that what you wanted" look.

3 weeks later Robin arrives looking a bit apprehensive.  He doesn't realize yet that he has found his forever owner who will love, spoil and protect him.

Here I am acting like a 5 year old getting her first pony on Christmas morning!  That's exactly how I felt too!

Mom,tweaking the halter so it fits just perfectly.....Robin with tongue out saying one more carrot please!!
